At the cul de sac the regulars are now Thomas, Tanya, Bobbie, Boot, and Smokey. Tonight was the first night that Smokey didn't run away when he saw me. In the last couple weeks, he would retreat, then watch me from concealment. I've careful not to approach quickly and tried to avoid looking aggressive. This time he stopped eating and went to sit in the middle of the cul de sac as I sat and gave treats to Tom, Tanya, and Bobbie. I threw one to him. He walked to it and sniffed, but didn't eat it. Eventually Bobbie came over and ate it after he walked away. I'll get some good pics if he keeps showing up and hanging out.

Anita is a bit of a problem some days. She meets me at the gate and prances back and forth at my feet when I go to feed at the spring. It's hard not to trip over her. I have started picking her up and carrying her most of the way. The other problem I had was that she makes it difficult to trap other cats. She will go right into a trap and trigger it if left alone. I really want to trap Rita and Lina before they get much older.
