Ferals at the Door.

Yesterday morning before dawn, Tanya was sitting at the back sliding door, looking in at Scout and the kittens. This morning after I did the feeding, Boot was doing the same thing. Fluffy used to freely wander our yard and look in the windows, but it's a 'dog zone' and generally unsafe for feral cats. They all leave when I get a camera, so I don't have pics.

I have thought of making access and a safe space in the garage for the ferals, but really think it's best to keep them outside the fence. There have been occasional rodents in the garage. Maybe I'll see if Thomas or Tanya will explore the garage under controlled conditions.

Another note: With Sasha's kittens growing up and possibly a couple new cats from peripheral areas, the food bowls at the pole are getting overcrowded. Long-time cats that are customarily at the pole are coming over to the spring to eat. Allie, Callie, Minnie and Sasha. Also I have been putting out more food to meet the need.
