Fireworks and Storms

Last night there were storms approaching, so I fed the cats about 45 minutes earlier than usual (1930 instead of 2015, sunset is at 2040 now). Only Thomas and Allie ate the food while I was there. Callie and Sally were watching from up the hill and stayed near shelter. No others were in sight. Fireworks from the 4th of July celebration and thunder from the darkening sky had most of the colony anxious. In the morning all the food had been eaten, but it may have been opossums and raccoons that finished it off.

Almost everyone was waiting for me at 0625 breakfast. Sally watched from up the hill. I didn't see Bobbie, but expect that she showed up a little later. Eastside and Nike are staying in the neighbor's yard to the East, but are usually visible from a distance.

Sasha appears to have had her kittens. I'll call the birthday July 2nd. She still has a belly, but it's hanging slack now instead of wide and tight. She probably had a large litter.
